Meet Mikaela Corrigan

As an eager learner, I have always felt driven to expand my knowledge, skills and education. After completing my Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, I continued this journey by completing a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, a decision that has shaped both my professional direction and my passion for helping others. As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, I have a particular interest in women’s health, exercise oncology, neurological conditions and working with older adults. I am especially passionate about women’s health, including chronic conditions and pelvic health, and improving the historically limited focus given to the health and wellbeing of over half of the population.

My approach is person-centred, evidence-based and educational, with compassion and curiosity at the heart of every client interaction. I am passionate about supporting people through challenging periods of their lives, particularly those living with cancer or neurological conditions, and helping them understand how exercise can play an important role in their health, independence and quality of life. I believe exercise is a powerful tool that can be adapted to meet people wherever they are in their health journey, and I enjoy working alongside clients to make movement meaningful to their everyday lives.

In any spare moment you’ll find me reading and listening to podcasts. I value time with my loved ones and enjoy getting away to the beach or the farm. My favourite activity or movement is walking my dog, Addi, closely followed by a gym session.
