Meet Leah Jenkins

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Queensland University of Technology. I have experience working with a broad range of clients and health conditions.

I have a keen interest in cardiology (particularly invisible illness), women’s health (perinatal exercise management and oncology) and multiple sclerosis. I thoroughly enjoy working with a clinical population from various backgrounds, using evidence based practice and varying modes of exercise including hydrotherapy; gym-based exercise; home-based exercise; and mat and reformer Pilates.

In my practice I ensure that my clients are listened to and feel heard; help them understand their pathology; and the benefits and safety around exercise in either treatment or management of various conditions and symptoms. I facilitate multiple group exercise classes and programs including Reformer Pilates for clinical and healthy populations; Heart Health and the Next Step Program.

I strive to educate my clients and create an environment where they can enjoy their exercise journey, trust and understand their goals and the purpose of making exercise part of their weekly routine. I personally believe that in all life paths there is a place for exercise, sometimes these paths may require guidance or support but we should all have the option to exercise safely and enjoy doing it.
