Meet Mikaela Corrigan

I have always been involved in a variety of sports and led an active lifestyle. First starting out as a ballerina, I made the change to team-based sports and found my love for softball. I have always aimed to be an active member within my association through coaching, umpiring and playing at various levels of competition and also participating in fundraising events.
I completed my university studies whilst working as an allied health assistant within a private rehabilitation hospital which assisted me in gaining vital experience in the health industry. I worked closely with individuals who had undergone joint replacement, various cardiac and respiratory conditions, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke and general rehabilitation interventions post-fall and deconditioning. I have worked with clients of varying mental health conditions both as an allied health assistant and an exercise scientist.
Following the completion of my Masters, my partner and I made the big decision to move north to the sunshine state with our beautiful dog, Ollie.
