Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates at ProHealth provides structured, evidence-based exercise guided by Accredited Exercise Physiologists to help you improve strength, movement control and confidence with exercise. Programs begin with an assessment to understand your goals, medical history and movement needs, allowing exercises to be tailored specifically to you and progressed safely over time.

Clinical Pilates is suitable across many life stages and presentations, whether you are recovering from injury, returning to exercise after pregnancy, managing ongoing pain or building strength for long-term health and independence. Each session is designed to support meaningful improvements in everyday function through individualised movement prescription.

Reformer Pilates at ProPilates

Reformer Pilates sessions are delivered within our on-site ProPilates studio, located inside the ProHealth clinic. Our Reformer Pilates studio provides access to a full timetable of reformer-based classes designed to support different goals, life stages and levels of experience.

We provide small, supervised classes with only seven reformer beds, allowing exercises to be adapted to suit your individual needs in every session. Smaller groups ensure each person receives regular one-on-one guidance, supporting safe technique, appropriate progression and a consistently high standard of instruction throughout the class.

Getting Started with Clinical Pilates

Before joining Clinical Pilates classes, you will require an assessment with one of our Exercise Physiologists, to help them understand your movement patterns, injuries or health considerations and tailor your program appropriately. This helps ensure exercises are safe, effective and aligned with your goals from the beginning.

Clinical Pilates can be delivered through:

  • small group reformer sessions in Clinical Pilates Classes, or
  • one-on-one sessions

Private health rebates may be available for assessments and some sessions depending on your level of cover.
